For the past two summers I have worked as a camp councler at Windsor Mountain International Summer Camp.  There I was incharge of the garden where we grew squash, tomatoes, peas, beans, strawberries, lettuce, cucumbers, sunflowers and more.  I helped to educate campers between the age of 7-16 about importance of food systems.  We also spent time with our animals (two alpacas, two goats, seven chickens and five bunnies) learning about how to take care of living animals.  It was important to me that campers made a connection with non human living beings during their summers at camp.
